Counselling

  • All sessions with a Psychologist are confidential which means I can’t tell anyone else what I discussed unless I have your permission to share it, you are unsafe to yourself or others or I’m required by law. If you have a mental health care plan I’m required to inform your referring GP of how the therapy is progressing.

  • There are no set number of sessions. After the initial session I can give you an idea of how often your child will need to come and approximately how long for.

  • The first counselling session is a ‘get to know you’ session. I will ask detailed questions about the concern. I also want to get to know your family and your child/adolescent so that the therapy is tailored for your child/adolescent to get the best outcomes.

  • All fee’s are listed on our website under the fee’s tab.

  • Our cancellation fees are listed in the fee’s tab
