Psychological Assessments
-
Psychological assessments are standardised assessments used by Registered Psychologists to either diagnose a disability or disorder or to provide the Psychologist with more information about their client.
-
Before completing an assessment we will have a session to discuss the concerns. The Psychologist will then complete the assessment. This can either be in person or electronically, depending on the assessment. Some assessments require the parents/carers to complete questions aswell.
The process involves:
Ring to book assessment and pay $500 deposit.
Session with parent/s or carer/s to determine type of assessment and who will complete it.
Questionnaires sent out to various people to complete.
Assessment session with child/young person.
Collation of questionnaires and results. Final payment due.
Once account fully paid feedback session with parent/s or carer/s and report given within 4 weeks.
